Optional Technical Tour

The optional technical tour is scheduled for September 17-18 and will visit fresh-cut operations and suppliers in the Salinas and Monterey area.  The separate registration fees will include transportation, one night's lodging, one lunch and admission to the California Mission at San Juan Bautista. The registration options for the tour are: $300 (single room) or $185 (double room).

To register for the tour, review the Optional Technical Tour information near the bottom of the registration page, and indicate if you want single or double accommodations and complete the other detailed information pertaining to the Optional Technical Tour.

Availability for the tour is limited and only those who have paid the full registration fee may attend.  The tour will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Join field crews during harvest for an up-close experience of harvest methods for fresh-cut processing.

Fresh-cut Salad Plant (Salinas)

Observe processing and packaging operations of a fresh-cut salad plant.

12:00 PM

 

Lunch - Casa de Fruta

Enjoy lunch in historic Casa de Fruta and sample delicious fruits, nuts, and confectionaries.
